I loved the comments some of you left the other day about what to do (or what you are going to do! :)) with paper rounds! Thanks for the great inspiration! One idea I decided to explore was:

mustangkayla said...If you did a couple different sized rounds you could distress (rough up) the edges and layer them into flowers! You could use them for a funky collage too!

So here is my layered paper flower. I crumpled each piece of paper to give it a 3D effect, and then punched a 1/16" hole (or you could use a pushpin) to put a mini brad through to hold it all together. I decided to use it on a greeting card, so I ran a blank 5.5" x 8.5" piece cardstock through my printer and printed "Just Wanted to Say Hi..." on it. I then sewed a couple of wavy lines below the text and adhered the flower with glue dots. The whole card took me about 15-20 minutes start to finish. Thanks for the inspiration Kayla!
I don't have a circle cutter, so I made a template for cutting out circles on my computer, printed it and cut them out. I then traced the template pieces on different sheets of paper and cut them out. Feel free to click to enlarge, save and print your own!If you make your own, I'd love to see it!
